A Wedding Weekend
A unique weekend wedding at Jimbo's Club might start with a casual rehearsal or welcome cookout dinner on the beach at sunset. The next morning your guests will meet you in the library for a simple breakfast and a plan for the days events. At noon everyone is invited to the softball field for lunch where the red and white checked blankets and picnic tables will be scattered on the lawn. Bagged lunches can be available for your guests to enjoy. Whether you participate or just cheer, a softball game is always a big hit. You can sit by the lake and take in the fresh Adirondack air before the ceremony.
The ceremony might be held on the lawn overlooking
the lake and mountains or in our indoor boathouse chapel that sits
right on the water. The reception can start with a cocktail hour with
lavish displays and hors d'oeuvres served by our staff. Your signature
drink is served during the cocktail hour. As your guests are invited
into the dining room by your band's trumpet player or by the ringing
of the bell, your guests will discover the care and ideas poured into every
detail.
Whether you prefer a formal sit-down meal or staffed serving stations, the food will be a great success. Our Chefs' creativity and skilled preparation of your meal will leave people wondering if it could possibly get any better. But it does. The wedding cake prepared here in our own bakery eliminates the extra step of finding a cake baker to make your special cake.
After the dinner and dancing your guests will be invited outside for the bonfire on the beach, and maybe even fireworks. Our antique wooden rowboat filled with assorted beverages will be available to your guests. Finally, a relaxing Sunday brunch sends everyone home with fond memories of an unforgettable weekend.

Jimbo's club provides comprehensive wedding and event planning. From the moment you arrive until your last goodbyes, our planning will assure that your event is unique and successful in every way. We work tirelessly to accommodate the needs of our brides and grooms and their guests. Every bride needs someone who can organize and help them create a perfect weekend.

The Rehearsal Dinner
Whether your decide on a intimate rehearsal dinner for your closest family and friends in our library or boathouse, or a fun BBQ on the beach for all of your out of town guests, our rehearsal dinners are a great way to start the weekend off. We can help you choose a theme for your rehearsal dinner, or you may decide to do something traditional. The options are endless. What better way to welcome your guests than to provide endless fun and fond memories.

Activities
With a facility like ours, we can easily add extra flair to your event, treating your guests to softball, horseback riding, basketball, tennis, or even water skiing or canoeing in an antique war canoe. For a look at some of the activities that you might try, you can view the Point O'Pines Camp website, and we would be pleased to suggest unique ideas for you. We will arrange appropriate staffing for all activities. We are blessed with wonderful scenery and many outdoor activities all around our area. There are beautiful hiking and snowmobiling trails and fishing spots, as well as shopping and scenic drives. The Adirondacks are a spectacular place to visit.
