Jimbo's has a team of creative and experienced staff that dedicate themselves to making every meal or event truly special. We realize our patrons visit Jimbo's after their friends and family share their fond memories. We deeply appreciate your choosing Jimbo's for your special meal, wedding or event. Below are just a few of the people who will make your experience superb.

Jim Himoff and Family, Owners

Jim Himoff and his family created Jimbo's to fulfill their desire for a friendly place to enjoy world-class meals in their adopted mountain home. They are fond of the best of cuisines from America, Italy, China, Mexico, France and everywhere in between. The Himoffs enjoy traveling and bring back ideas from all over the world following every trip that often inspire our Chefs' cuisine. The Himoffs' favorite topic of family conversation is certainly food and wine.

The Himoffs The Himoffs are the owners and directors of Point O'Pines Camp for Girls, where Jimbo's makes its home. Point O'Pines was founded around the 1920s as an Adirondack resort with elegant black-tie dinners and summer recreation as a getaway from the city heat. In 1957, it was transformed into a girl's camp where every summer is filled with fun, friendships, learning and excitement. It was in fact the girls who first used “Jimbo” as a nickname for Jim. Jimbo's is closed each summer during the camp season.

Our Chefs

Our Chefs delights our palates with their creative cuisine. They combine our interest in superbly executed traditional dishes from around America and the world with delicious creations of our own. Our cuisine is known for both taste and beautiful presentations that are savored almost as much by the eyes as by the mouth. Our chefs prepare your intimate meal for two or feast for three hundred. Our Chefs also work with the Himoffs to create the menus for Suzie Q's Sunshine Café.

Suzie Q's Sunshine Café

The Himoff family also offers patrons the opportunity to enjoy fine cuisine at Suzie Q's Sunshine Café. Suzie Q's is open all year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Suzie Q's menu features hearty and diverse fare at modest prices. Recently, Suzie Q's served as the backdrop for Dodge's National Paul Bunyan-themed advertising campaign. In the ad, patrons arrive in a Dodge pickup to enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes only to find that a giant Paul Bunyan has taken their truck out for a spin. Suzie Q's is also available to host your next special event. Click here to view our menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Suzie Q's is located in Brant Lake right off Route 8 at Tannery Road.
